Like everything in Rome, eating is an historical event. Start at La Carbnarra where they invented Spaghetti Carbonarra and then move on to Alfredos where they invented Fetuccini Alfredo traditionally served with golden spoons. Then move up a notch to ore modern Italian in the Piazza Espana where Nino and my friend Niko’s favorite restaurant Porto Maltese are.and then finish at the 1 star restaurants on top of Hotel Eden or Splendido Royale. Finally, finish with a flourish at La Pergola on top of the Hilton for a 3 star extravaganza by a german chef!

Tutto l'alimento italiano è magnificant! È l'anima di vita!
