Is Cruden Bay in Scotland the best golf course on earth? I can't be sure as I played in a thick fog and a 3 club wind (and still shot an 85 from the tips - lights out!). This heaving course must be revisited. The massive dunes, plateaus and ocean views (heard about but not seen through the fog) are epic in proportions. This lept out on a tour that included Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and Nairn so the comparison quality was high. We shall return.

Hey Jeffrey,
Found your blog from Typepad feature.
Played Cruden Bay at Uni years ago and it was foggy.
Have you played down my way on the west coast?
Got an old mate at your company who's from Elie, wonder if you know him?
Regards
Fraser
