Another overrated private club

Well, add East Lake to the list of overrated private USA clubs like Winged Foot and Baltusrol. While the course is very nice, the club house wonderful and the history of Bobby Jones compelling...the course just isn't that hard or thrilling. This is another example of how the private golf clubs in America control the golf magazines and the voting while superior non-private courses like Quarry Oaks in Omaha or World woods in Florida are overlooked.
