James Blunt (4/5) is a new crooner from the UK who sings sad but great ballads which are ideal for breaking up, pet deaths, being fired and general states of foul humour. For heavy depression the only choice is Damian Rice (5/5) singing about eskimos. Listen and jump.

music is awesome, no matter where it comes from, but I for one, would LOVE to hear a song about eskimoes!

Never having heard of Keane, I checked a few songs of theirs out on the iTunes music store and then downloaded the album. "Who needs a guitar?" was my thought. A refreshing discovery. Reminds me of when I stumbled upon Ocean Blue several years back. Nobody seemed to know of them (maybe few do even now), and that made them an all more appealling playlist choice.

I went to Coconuts 2 days ago and bought the CD for this Spring Season: BLOC PARTY.
I recommend for people to RUN, not walk and buy this debut album from this Bristish Band. Lead Singer Kele Okereke's voice sounds like a cross between The Cure's Robert Smith and Blur's Damon Albarn. Musicaly - there's influences of probably every British band that I've known with a twist of their own spunkiness.
Good Stuff from the UK!

I agree with both bands mentioned by my Dad, the music guru. I highly recommend the "Bright Eyes-Digital Ash in a Digital Urn." It's a must have for 2005!!
